About the Design

Liver Building in Liverpool. The first foundation stone for the building was placed in 1908 and the building was completed in 1911. It has two Liver birds on the rooftops, watching over both the city of Liverpool and the sea. There's a legend that if these two birds were to ever leave the rooftops and fly away, that the city of Liverpool would cease to exist.
